Biography

Dr. Manki Min is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Louisiana Tech University, affiliated with the Center for Secure Cyberspace and the College of Engineering & Science.

He received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Minnesota in 2004. He then worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Florida for two years, and was an assistant and later associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at South Dakota State University until 2017.

His research covers security and cryptography, including post-quantum security, blockchain consensus algorithms and hash-based authentication; the design and analysis of optimization techniques and heuristics for network topologies; and technologies for CS and STEM education. He teaches theoretical computer science, including the theory of computing and (advanced) data structures and algorithms.
